My Big Brother (United States, 2 minutes)

Cast: John Heritage

'My Big Brother' explores the reflections of a boy sharing a room and a childhood with his twenty-foot tall brother. He cannot compete with the giant physically, and the hand-me-downs are not his ideal choice of clothing, but he can't deny how his brother's unique stature has changed his world.

My Big Brother

By: Conor Murray

A very heartwarming piece about a young boy and living a very different childhood alongside his extraordinary big brother, a twenty-foot tall giant. The hand-me-downs don't always fit and sometimes he is a little too much brother, but the boy realizes how different life would be without his special brother. The low-poly animation is very nice looking and well colored, and the background music fits very well with the softness of the storyline. Very well done and entertaining despite being only two minutes. "My Big Brother" is an official selection of the New York City Independent Film Festival and will be shown at the festival on October 12-18, 2015.
