Empty Nesters (United States | 2016, 10 min)
Directed by: Jacqueline Dow
Jerry, a therapist, and his husband David have trouble coping with the fact that their son, Zack, is off to college. It is their first weekend in their 'empty nest' and they discover that they have a leaky faucet in the kitchen. Rather than calling a plumber, David becomes obsessed with the distraction and tries to fix it himself. Jerry is not so sure that this is the best idea for David's mental health and for their apartment floors so he goes behind David's back and hires an unknowing plumber who finds himself tangled up in the couple's web of emotions.
