The NYC Independent Film Festival, in conjunction with REVRIE Immersive Works and Pretend Labs, is bringing you an all-day event of Virtual Reality experiences, for free!

This is the first year the Festival has opened to VR submissions. Catch the following videos at the event:

The following out-of-competition videos will also be presented:
ALLUMETTE: Allumette tells the story of a young orphan girl who lives in a fantastical city in the clouds. After enduring tragedy, she grasps at hope for her future. Loosely inspired by "The Little Match Girl" by Hans Christian Andersen, Allumette is an account of the love a mother and daughter have for one another, and the sacrifices they make for the greater good.
FRAGMENTS: (Collaboration between Microsoft and Asobo Studio)
You become the detective in a high-tech crime thriller. Experience new possibilities for storytelling and gameplay.

In addition to the Virtual Reality Videos, Pretend Labs will be demoing Mixed Reality recording and 3D Scanning!
